Mehrana's Biography

Music has been an essential part of Mehrana’s life since childhood. At age eleven, her junior high music teacher discovered her talent. Her teacher wouldn’t let her give up so easily and assured her that by practicing and persistence, in the long run her singing would one day benefit her.

Since then Mehrana has evolved into a talented singer. She was a member in the original female trio group, “Silhouettt”, produced by Shahbal Shabpareh. After the breakup of Silhouettt, Mehrana waited for her next great opportunity. Shahbal Shabpareh again approached her with a new duet project, which included the singer, Fariborz. The singers and producer collaborated on an original style and musical direction for this new and exciting project. The result was She-Ba-He. Their first album entitled “Creation,” or “Afarinesh” combines the artistic talents of both singers and producer. The album represents a revolutionary Persian New Age Pop sound, an innovative style consisting of lyrics in Farsi and English.

Mehrana lives with her family in San Diego, CA. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration at San Diego State University, as well as a certificate program in Human Resources at SDEA. Mehrana currently works at a leading computer hardware manufacturing company as the Assistant to the President and Manager of Human Resources.

Throughout the years, Mehrana has focused on developing her musical abilities and her ultimate goal is to take her talents one step further by crossing over to the American music market.
